Emil Castellanos

Born into a family of five children, I have three brothers and one sister. Although of Cuban descent, I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Miami at the age of four. I recently married the most precious thing in my life, Arlene Castellanos. I consider myself very blessed. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for baseball. Guess you can say I began my career at the age of four in little league. With the support of my mother and very dedicated father, I was able to develop my talent for the game. I had believed it was my talent that led me to schools such as Coral Gables High, Miami- Dade, and Trinity. But after coming to the Lord my first year at Trinity International, I realized it was God. It was through baseball that the Lord revealed himself to me, and I discovered my true passion, to serve Christ. With the Lord guiding me, I was able to make All American for two consecutive years before transferring to St. Thomas University my junior year. I graduated St. Thomas with a Bachelors’ in Sports Administration, and shortly after became a P.E. and baseball coach for WCS. This will be my seventh year at the school and if it be in God’s will, I will be here another sixty. I truly enjoy this place. I love my work!
