Accreditation & Membership
WCS is approved and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Christian Schools of Florida, and the Florida Council of Independent Schools. Memberships include: Christian Schools International, Southern Association for College Admission Counseling, National Association for College Admission Counseling, Miami Association of Christian Counselors, and College Entrance Examination Board.
School
Founded in 1961, Westminster is a private Christian school serving 1,050 students in grades PreK-12. There are 405 students enrolled at Westminster in grades 9-12 with 100 students in 12th grade. Westminster Christian School exists to serve children from families who are active members of a Christ-centered church by providing a Reformed Christian education, emphasizing excellence in the spiritual, academic, physical, and social training of young people to prepare them to serve their communities as worthy ambassadors for Christ. Our mission, combined with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, has enabled Westminster students to excel in post-secondary settings. Westminster admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, programs and activities made available to students of the school.
