Parents' Guild is a support organization that is comprised of parents of students enrolled at Westminster Christian School. The Parents' Guild provides an opportunity for parents to have Christian fellowship and develop a sense of camaraderie with other WCS families while providing support to the entire school through a variety of fundraising and school community events.
How can I get involved?
Start getting involved by volunteering and attending meetings. Parents’ Guild meets monthly, usually the first Thursday of each month after morning drop-off. Click Meetings to see when the next meeting will take place.
What events does Parents’ Guild host?
Parents’ Guild hosts a number of events such as the Pumpkin Patch in October and Family Fun Day in February. We are also involved in year-round collection and redemption of Box Tops for Education coupons, the Tyson A+ labels program, and the Escrip program. For more information about Parents' Guild events that help raise funds to benefit the school, click on Events.
Parents’ Guild also hosts the Used Uniform Sales, Father/Daughter Dance, and the WCS Faculty Appreciation Luncheon. In addition, it provides support and refreshments for Open Houses, Association Meetings, and other events at the school's request. Parents’ Guild also coordinates the Room Mother and Sunshine Committee.
Westminster Parents' Guild
Westminster parents like Maggie Castellanos, Penny Lyn, Esther Vazquez, and Vicky Miro are active volunteers with Parents' Guild. Their involvement allows them to meet and get to know other Westminster families while providing necessary support to the school.
