The financial aid office of each college to which you apply is the best source of information concerning the scholarships available at the institution.
The Westminster Guidance Office receives only a limited number of scholarship notices from colleges and other organizations which are publicized in the announcements and on our bulletin board. Students and parents are invited to peruse the Scholarship File in the Guidance Office to see scholarship information we have received. These scholarships are also available at Westminster Scholarship Information.
Individuals are encouraged to pursue any scholarships for which they may be eligible either by reason of employment, service, association membership, talent, or major field of interest. You are urged to complete a free search at http://www.fastweb.com.
In 1997, the Florida Legislature created the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. This Florida Lottery-funded scholarship rewards students for their academic achievements during high school by providing funding for them to pursue postsecondary educational and career goals in Florida. Depending on a student's grade point average, SAT or ACT score, and other requirements, eligible students may be awarded 75% or 100% of tuition and fees at public institutions in Florida. For more information check with the Guidance Office or visit their website: www.MyFloridaEducation.com/brfuture/
