Developmental Guidance

Guidance curriculum includes but is not limited to relevant topics:

• Learning Styles
• Sex Education
• Conflict resolution
• Life Skills
• Career Exploration

Counseling Services

• Individual and small group counseling is available for students who experience academic, social, or personal problems.
• Referrals are available for community resources.
• Groups may be conducted as needed for:

1. Anger Management
2. Family Issues/Divorce
3. Loss and Grief
4. Peacemaking and Friendship

Parent Education

Parent Meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 8:45 a.m. in MS Conference Room.

Girls Share and Prayer Group

Girls Share and Prayer Group meets Wednesday at lunch

Student Support Team Meetings (SST)

Teachers, parents or the counselor may call an SST to find strategies to support and assist students in academic success.

Student Life

The Middle School offers students the experience of belonging to Student Council, Junior Honor Society, various clubs, Chapel Drama Teams, Girls Share and Prayer Group, and numerous athletic events.
