The Student Council is elected by the student body. The election for the office of President (an eighth grader) and 3 representatives at large is held in the spring of the year. These elected representatives will take office in the fall of the new school year. Their main purpose is the scheduling of the activities during the year through sponsorship of various service projects
Bible Club
The Middle School Bible Club gives students opportunities to serve others in a Christlike manner.
Chess Club
Chess Club accepts students from grades 6, 7, and 8. Novice or experienced players are invited to enjoy and learn more good chess plays.
National Junior Honor Society
The NJHS is a service and leadership organization requiring a 3.67 GPA for admission and for continued active membership. Other admission criteria include a reputation of good moral standing and evident qualities of citizenship, leadership, and service. Seventh and eighth grade students are eligible for candidacy at the end of the third marking period. If a transfer student was a member in good standing of the NJHS chapter at his/her previous school, that student will be invited to become an active member of the William J. McLeod Chapter.
Girls Share & Prayer
Girls interested in sharing devotions and prayer needs meet in a student-led forum for Christian fellowship.
Chapel Drama Teams
Students perform in Chapel, using characterization, voice, movement and improvisations
