Guidance, Remediation, Academic Support Program The GRASP program is designed to remediate learning deficits as diagnosed through psycho-educational testing. Mental exercises and techniques are employed that strengthen weak areas.
1. Consultative Services K-8 This program is designed for students who have been diagnosed with a mild learning disability and do not need intensive remediation.
2. The Small Group Reading program provides instruction for students with a Language/Reading Disability.

Educational therapists work with small groups of 2-3 students.
3. Clinical one to one program The GRASP clinical one to one program is designed to give perceptual training to those students who are struggling academically in the classroom. Cognitive and perceptual techniques are employed that strengthen deficit areas as defined by psycho-educational testing.
An educational therapist provides a total of three hours of individual instruction weekly. There is an additional fee for the GRASP program.
The GRASP program accepts students who have average to above average intelligence. The program is designed for the student with a learning disability and not for the student with a primary emotional, social, or medical dysfunction.
The admission procedures include:
An application and fee
A psycho-educational evaluation, completed within the past two years.
An interview with the Director of Admission/or Director of Horizons Academic Support Program
An official transcript, copy of most recent report card, and teacher recommendations
