High School Concert Band

High School Concert Band consists of Woodwind and Brass students in grades 9 - 12. The Concert Band represents Westminster at Florida Bandmasters Association sanctioned events at the District and State levels and performs at WCS and community events. All students in the concert band are also required to perform in the Pep Band for home football games. Concert Band is combined with the percussion class for all concerts and performances.

Percussion

Percussion class gives students the opportunity to develop skills in marching percussion (drum line) and concert percussion. This ensemble performs with the Concert Band and as a stand-alone ensemble.

All students that are registered for Percussion are automatically members of the Warrior Drum Line. Occasionally the Drum Line will perform as a stand-alone unit and has become a favorite amongst the students and football fans. The Warrior Band and Drum Line perform at home football games as well as pep rallies and various other sporting events.
