Art Sculpture I

Art Sculpture I is a one-semester class in which students learn the elements and principles of design and how to use them to create a sculpture composition. Students use a variety of media including PVC pipes, wire, paper mache', and ceramics. Projects include PVC pipe abstract, Ceramic Bowls, Ceramic Tea Pots, Individual Wire Designs, Main Street Building Model, Bobble-Head Figures, Bas-Relief in Ceramics.

Art Sculpture II

Art Sculpture II is a one-semester class in which students develop and refine their sculpture skills and techniques as well as work with new media. Students are encouraged to expand their creative thinking and self-expression. A B+ or better in Art Sculpture I, or a department recommendation based on the student's portfolio is required.

Art Sculpture III Honors

Art Sculpture III Honors is a one-semester class in which students develop artistic skills and creative expression in teacher-directed and self-directed projects. Students are required to develop a Final Presentation of a minimum of 6 projects in a private show format. A B+ or better in Art Sculpture II is required.
