Advanced Band

Advanced Band consists primarily of 7th and 8th grade students that have the equivalent of at least two years of instrumental study. Students are challenged to raise the level of their performance skills in preparation for High School. The band performs for Florida Bandmasters Association sanctioned events, school and community concerts.

Intermediate Band

Intermediate Band is open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students that have the equivalent of at least one year of instrumental instruction. Students have the option of participating in the Florida Bandmasters Association District 16 Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessment.

5th Grade/Middle Beginning Band

The 5th Grade/Middle School Beginning Band primarily consists of 5th grade students who wish to continue band after 4th grade. The class is also open to 5th grade students and Middle School students that desire to study a band instrument for the first time. Greater emphasis is placed on music reading skills and performance of independent parts. The band performs annual Christmas and Spring Concerts and at Elementary Chapels.
