Former WCS Drama Teacher and Grad Team Up in Actor's Workshop
Kathy Young discovered her passion for directing, coaching, and helping actors realize their full potential while serving as a drama teacher at Westminster in the early 2000's. She and her family followed her desire to "help others fulfill their dreams" and moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and established Crossroad Talent Management. She now works with WCS grads such as Krizia Bajos '01, Kevin Anthony Deegan '04, and Cyrina Fiallos '03 in helping them manage their careers in the industry.

The Civil War Comes to Life in the MS
A MS Elective available to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, Mrs. North's class on the Civil War culminates with students painting a metal Civil War soldier. The soldier itself is made from liquid metal poured into a mold and the students paint them as either Confederate or Union soldiers.

WCS Theater Department Celebrates A Year of Accomplishments
On May 21, the WCS Theater Department held its annual banquet where students are honored for their performances and technical theater work. Thirteen students were inducted into the International Thespian Society. Five seniors graduated with the rank of Honor Thespian. In addition to the awards and inductions, the students were treated to a film highlighting this year's accomplishments on the Westminster stage and at the theater festivals.

All hands were on deck for the Westminster Chiefs' Second Annual Dolphin Fishing Tournament on Friday, June 4. Anglers of all ages contributed to bringing in record numbers of dolphin, which were weighed for prizes, filleted, and cooked up for the 150 dinner guests.
