Let's Make LESS Mean MORE for Our School by A.J. West, Superintendent
I'm writing to update you on the WCS Annual Fund. As we all know, the economic climate has hurt all fund raising and has forced us all to be even more careful with money we spend, and the money we give.
Because of this, I'm asking the WCS community to UNITE, and GIVE LESS. I know that is not what you expected to read, but it's true. What we really need is for MORE families to get involved in giving to the Annual Fund. Even if your economic situation requires that you give LESS than you would like, the campaign will be a success and Westminster Christian School will be better for it, if MORE families participate.

Ms. Erika Fernandez, Westminster's Band teacher, recently shared her experiences as a member of the Army Reserve with Mrs. Sandy Adams' World History students. This complemented their study of classical Greece, which compared Sparta with other Greek city-states. Women were highly trained in physical fitness and prepared to step in during the men's absence in time of war. They also studied women's service in the military through American history culminating with the current engagements in Iraq and Afghanistan.
