• Health Clinic
  The well-equipped Health Clinic serves the High School, Middle School and Elementary School. It is located in Room 8 on the elementary campus.

 

• Services offered
  Our School Nurse provides nursing care to sick and injured students and staff. As a licensed professional, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of school health and safety. In addition to caring for those who are sick or injured, health prevention is emphasized. Our nurse organizes specialized health screenings, provides CPR and other health programs in and out of the classrooms, arranges exciting health events and works closely with teachers, coaches and parents to individualize health care according to students' needs.

 

• Immunization Guidelines
  Westminster Christian School complies with all state immunization requirements. Immunization records are reviewed and maintained by the school nurses in the Health Clinic. Prospective students must provide documentation of having received all required immunizations prior to admission. Department of Health Forms 3040 and 680 are available in Florida physicians' offices and must be presented to the Admissions Office before students may begin school. • Medication Administration
  Medication is administered according to written physician's orders. An Authorization for Medication form must be completed and on file in the Health Clinic before our nurse may administer prescription and over-the-counter medications.
