Our Remote Online Teaching and Learning began on Monday, March 30, 2020. This has been an opportunity for our teachers to connect, instruct and direct students as they continue to progress in acquiring and mastering grade level skills and standards.

Please explore the updated Hub Website to connect with teachers, find learning tools/resources that have been recommended by teachers and discover new Enrichment events on Teams!

We miss you Warriors and can not wait to give you hugs when you come back to campus.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS

WESTMINSTER'S GOT TALENT

Well it has been confirmed….Westminster has got LOTS of TALENT! We received over 50 submissions to our Talent Show request and let me tell you there are definitely a lot of creative students at Westminster Christian School!!

Because of the large volume of videos, we will be producing two episodes of Westminster’s Got Talent

There are 3 ways for you to watch:
  1. Go to the WCS Nerd Herd FB page and start a “Watch Party” to watch with family and friends. You can comment while you watch and it kind of feels like you are a little more together. We will be hosting another LIVE event for Episode 2 next Wednesday, May 13th, at 6:00 p.m.
  2. Go to the WCS Nerd Herd Instagram page and watch on IGTV.
  3. Click here to watch on YouTube.

The Nerd Herd

If your child has shown an interest in joining The Nerd HerdTM Book Club at WCS. Here are some details to get him/her started:
* Book Club is voluntary. It should be something your child is motivated about joining.
* We will have a different book every month for students to get excited about!
* Students will read the book on their own and then come together to discuss the book when completed.
* The Book Club will meet during lunchtime so no need to coordinate another afterschool activity!
* I will be checking in with students and groups will be picked dependent on when they finish the book and take their Accelerated Reader quiz!

* Students get to wear their Nerd Herd T-shirt on the first Wednesday of the month!
