PK4 Learns to Care For God's Creatures

Mrs. Vargas' PK4 students had an exciting visit to the Discovery Barn on campus.
They helped Mr. Heetderks and Mrs. Carper feed the many reptiles and turtles that live in the Barn, and then the students were introduced to the new baby chicks. The baby chicks are part of the Dominique breed and are known for being sweet, gentle, calm and docile.  Brought to the U.S. by the Pilgrims, the Dominique is America's oldest chicken breed.

"I am so grateful our students have the opportunity to learn to love all of God’s creatures!" said Mrs. Vargas.  "We are blessed!"
