High School Summer Reading and Assignments

High School students enrolled in the following courses are required to complete reading and assignments in the summer.  This information is also available in myWCS on the Summer Reading Resource Board. Please review full information in the links below: 

English 1

AP Art History: Purchase and read The Annotated Mona Lisa. 

AP Studio Art: Explore and develop your Sustained Investigation (portfolio). Plan to create six pieces as evidence of your practice. These will be assignments finalized within the first quarter (Fall). Getting a head start over the summer is crucial. Artwork may be any medium or scale and can also be done in a sketchbook. Photographers may store images digitally. Email Mrs. Sharpe-Shirk with questions.
