The Westminster Experience

Creating Community

Over the years, Westminster families, students, and alumni have repeatedly used one word to describe our community: family. Teachers, staff, and students work together to form a unique school experience that motivates the Westminster community to exceed both inside and outside of the classroom through fellowship, service, and the use of their special talents and abilities. Students of all grade levels are encouraged to get involved, give, and glorify God.

The Westminster community is built on relationships and engagement with one another. In a typical week, a Westminster student might spend their afternoons practicing with teammates, rehearing a drama production, or painting posters for their club's service project. Each of these activities allow our students to form bonds with one another, their teachers, and coaches that last a lifetime.

We are Warriors

To be a Westminster Warrior means that you are part of a family. The school is known for its sense of community, family, and belonging. Westminster Warriors genuinely care about one another and share in one another's joys and sorrows. As a Christian community, we find joy in our shared values and faith and encourage each other as we seek to be more like Jesus. Since 1961, Westminster has maintained its clear and consistent focus on its Christian values and ethos, unwavering in the commitment to prepare students to be ambassadors and representatives of the Christian faith.

Made for More

A Westminster education is crafted to ignite a passion within students to discover their God-given gifts and talents. From opportunities to lead a class project, learn an instrument, plan a campus-wide event, or perfect their shot on the basketball court, Westminster students learn through success and failure how God has created them for a unique purpose. This journey of self-discovery inspires Westminster students to use their gifts to make a positive change on campus, in their local community, or around the world. A Westminster education prepares them to be Christian leaders who are prepared to model Christ's example of love and service throughout their life.

“I’ve been at Westminster since fourth grade, and it’s an honor to be a Warrior. Most people don’t enjoy going to school, but I, on the other hand, don’t like missing school. Westminster has made me a better person. They’ve taught me that God has a plan for me. I don’t know what it is yet, but I feel confident that Westminster has prepared me for whatever the future holds.”
