Fine Arts

The goal of the WCS Fine Arts Department is to develop each child’s talent.  The fine arts curriculum allows students from preschool through 12th grade to explore their God-given gifts and to sharpen their skills through the following disciplines: visual arts, orchestra, choir, band, and drama.

Our Current Facilities

Our current Fine Arts facilities provide a quality environment for our student artists to develop and showcase their talents. The nearly 400-seat Guarch Family Auditorium is equipped with dressing rooms and backstage amenities for those performing, and is the primary facility where the choir, band, orchestra and drama perform. The Auditorium also houses the WCS Fine Arts Gallery, which displays the work of students and artists from the community.  The high school and middle school art classes enjoy spacious state-of-the-art studios equipped with all of the tools necessary to hone their craft.

The Lighthouse: A State-of-the-Art Auditorium and Worship Center

For many years now, WCS has dreamed of having a modern auditorium capable of showcasing the incredible talent of its fine arts students, and a place to nurture hearts for Christ through corporate worship and praise. While specifics are still being developed, the dream of a State-of-the-Art Auditorium and Worship Center is now slated to become a reality. The facility is expected to house a more than 600-seat auditorium, providing a top-notch performance environment for Westminster's highly-esteemed, award-winning Fine Arts programs. In addition, the space will allow for the entire WCS community to come together to worship and praise our Lord as a family.
