Choir

Director: Dr. Lauren Hartman

Westminster’s highly-regarded choral program offers ensembles at every grade level, consisting of 4th and 5th grade Music Movers, Middle School Mixed Choir, High School Mixed Choir, and the Honors Girls' Ensemble. Each choir participates in on-campus performances such as chapel, a Christmas concert, and the show-stopping Musical Revue. Off-campus, the middle school and high school students have enjoyed performances tours to Orlando, New York City, Nashville, and Hawaii.

All grade levels participate in a yearly musical theater show, the Musical Revue, which is an honored tradition at Westminster. These performances consist of selections from Broadway and musical theater shows and popular genres. Students get a complete performance experience on the Lighthouse stage with the use of costumes, choreography, set pieces, and lighting.

Many Westminster students participate in the yearly student vocal evaluations through the Florida Music Educators Association. Students consistently are selected for the All-State ensembles across all grade levels, and are evaluated on their vocal ability, music theory knowledge, and sight-singing skills. Students also frequently receive superior ratings at the Solo and Ensemble evaluations.
