Elementary School Robotics Teams Win Awards at Competition

This year, the elementary school robotics teams participated in a virtual VEX Robotics competition in which they competed against other schools for awards in excellence in robotics. The competition consisted of two matches that took place between December 9, 2020 and February 3, 2021.
The teams completed the matches in the HUB and their entries were broadcast live to the league judges. We are proud to announce that all three of the elementary school robotics teams that entered the competition took home awards.

Team A received the Excellence Award. The Excellence Award is the highest award presented at VEX Robotics competitions. This award is presented to the team that exemplifies overall excellence in building a high-quality robotics program. Team B received the Judges Award which is presented to the team that is most deserving of special recognition. Some of the key criteria for this award include exemplary effort and perseverance at the event, and a clear demonstration of teamwork and effective communication skills among the students. Last but not least, team C received the Energy Award which is presented to the team that shows the most enthusiasm, passion and excitement at the event.
