Middle School Students Read Almost 10,000 Pages for Competition
As a reading incentive, the library challenged middle school students to read from a list of 22 books in the Winter Reading Challenge Bookopoly Contest. Students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade participated in the contest and read a total of almost 10,000 pages!
Congratulations to Victoria Jimenez '27 for winning first place after reading 4,253 pages. The second place winner with a total of 1,148 pages is Caitlyn Reed '27, and third place was awarded to Juan Rondeau '27 for reading 1,049 pages.

Monopoly boards and $25 gift cards were distributed as awards. A special thank you as well to Kathy Ramirez, the high school and middle school library media specialist, for organizing the competition.
