Westminster's Earth Day Celebration Features Student Art Show and the Wild Acre
Elementary school students and parents celebrated Earth Day with "Our Earth, Our Art," an event featuring an earth-focused art fair.
Students led parents through the exhibit as they described and explained the artwork that was on display. Afterwards, parents were guided to the WorldWonder Nature Center to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities and animals that the Wild Acre has to offer. Parents and students alike enjoyed the tortoises, a bamboo forest, Nigerian Dwarf goats, an aviary and more.

In addition to the Earth Day celebration, Westminster's Visual Art Department opened the art fair to the public from Wednesday, April 21, to Saturday, April 24, and featured artwork from elementary, middle and high school students.
