Westminster Alumni and Long-Time Friends Reunite in Seaside, FL
Over Labor Day weekend, a group of Westminster alumni, who have remained friends for over 20 years, reunited in Seaside, FL.
Allyce Perret-Gentil ‘06 says the group became friends at different times while attending Westminster Christian School. "We all came together in middle school and have been best friends since," added Perret-Gentil.
She also recalls attending annual mission trips together to the Cayman Islands as well as Young Life camp and soccer camp. "Year after year, we all became closer and truly consider each other family now, " she said.
Their last get-together took place about 10 years ago, but the group plans to gather bi-annually. This last reunion was spearheaded by Jim Traynor '06 and Perret-Gentil says it was exceptional.
"This trip was so special as we were able to meet new members including new spouses and children."
