Students Earn Awards at 67th Annual State Science and Engineering Fair
Congratulations to Annalise Garrido ‘23 and Peter Frometa ‘22 for receiving awards at the 67th Annual State Science and Engineering Fair in Lakeland, Florida!
The Fair took place March 29-31. Garrido received third place for testing the impact of natural substances on eye tumor formation in fruit flies that she induced with cancer. She found that Artemisinin was extremely affective in preventing tumor formation.
Frometa received an Honorable Mention for a program that can accurately predict an athlete's college prospects based on their metrics.
