WCS Art Students Stand Out From Competition at FAEA Assessment
The Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) has awarded four WCS students with honors, a huge accomplishment as these pieces were selected out of 1,200 entries from the entire state. The winners are:
- Senior Chrissy Jimenez received the incredible honor and first of its kind for WCS, by being named the Overall High School winner for her oil painting, "Break Out."
- Senior Ashley Castano received an Excellence with Distinction award.
- Senior Natasha Strump received an Excellence award
- Eighth grader Claire Kennedy received an Excellence with Distinction award.
Westminster Christian School, located in Palmetto Bay, Florida, is a private, college-preparatory school for children from preschool through twelfth grade.
