Milian '18 Earns Second Emmy

Max Milian '18 and the Miami Dade College Film Scoring Orchestra earned its second EMMY for Best Special Event Coverage for its Video Game Concert. Milian is the principal tympanist for the symphony and has been playing with them since sophomore year.  Maestro Albert Bade, the conductor of the orchestra, accepted the award on behalf of his students, saying “They are the real winners of this Award.”
Max points out, "MDC won the EMMY last year as well; so it was especially challenging to make this year’s concert bigger, better, and more amazing. There was so much work under pressure for this multi media event; but I think we all agree, it was all worth it.”

Excerpts of the program can be seen on MDC TV YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/DTrfQCH772I where you can see Milian perform on Tympani!
