ES Art Students Win Wyland Foundation Mural Challenge
Congratulations to Mrs. Heetderks and her students who won the Wyland Foundation’s Classroom Mural Challenge (Grades K5-4). The Challenge encouraged students to discover the latest issues related to water and environmental health and collaborate on a large scale mural project. In addition, Lola Viale ’30, also won the First Grade Individual Art Category.
The honor comes with a $1,000 prize to be used for classroom art supplies. Way to go!
