Fine Arts Committee

What is the Fine Arts Committee?

The Fine Arts Committee of the Westminster Parent Partners is dedicated to supporting the outstanding fine arts program at Westminster, its student musicians/artists, and faculty by volunteering and fundraising.  There are many opportunities to volunteer behind the scenes of concerts, trips, productions and art projects and opportunities to raise funds to enhance our program. The Fine Arts Committee encourages everyone to attend the performances in all areas of the Fine Arts.

Fine Arts Missions Scholarship

The Fine Arts Missions Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Annabelle Interian, a dedicated Westminster Christian School parent who sadly lost her life in a cycling accident in 2016. She was an amazing fine arts volunteer, but her real passion was to serve others through prayer, Bible studies and local and international missions. The WCS Fine Arts  Missions Scholarship honors her passion by offering two high school fine arts students the opportunity to go on a mission trip or work on a mission project funded at up to $500 each.

What Events Does the Fine Arts Committee Host?

The Fine Arts Committee coordinates a fundraising sale in the fall, a fellowship reception in the Spring, flowers for purchase at events, and pizza and lemonade sales weekly. They also support all of the orchestra, choir, band and drama performances and art exhibits throughout the year for all three campuses.
