Specialty Camp Information

Specialty Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily.

HALF-DAY FUN CAMP (12:00 - 3:00 pm) is offered for campers attending our Specialty Camps.

HALF DAY FUN CAMP is not available for preschool or high school campers.  The cost of Half Day Fun Camp is $125 per week (except Week 4, which is $100 for the 4-day week).  

**NOTE: There is a one-time registration fee of $10 for each camper per summer.

  • Girl Squad

    Grades:  Kindergarten - 5th

    Are you a girl in need of the world's most fun sleepover (minus the sleeping, of course!)?  Come join WCS teachers Ms. Dirube and Mrs. Belvedere in a boutique-style camp made just for girls!  Each of our two weeks will revolve around different exciting themes.  We will provide activities that will include arts and crafts, s'mores and snack making, scavenger hunts, jewelry making, and other good old-fashioned girl fun!  Do you have what it takes to help our squad face the ultimate challenge in our weekly Escape Rooms?  Join us this summer and become a part of our Girl Squad!

  • Little Warrior Cheer Camp

    Ages:  PreK-4 - 8th Grade
    June 20 - 24

    We've got spirit, yes we do, we've got spirit, how ‘bout YOU!! Come learn how to pump up your school spirit with our cheerleading camp, led by the high school Coach & the cheerleaders! Aside from having FUN and team bonding, we will teach a few cheers, chants, and a dance to perform at the first WCS football game in August! Girls will learn how to do basic stunts and jumps as well! Come have a blast with us!! Coach Hamann leads the high school team with over 10 years’ experience in team sports and athletics. She loves working with our WCS girls to show them the love of Christ and how to work together as a team!

  • Math & Test Prep Clinic

    Grades:  5th & 6th
    June 20 - 24  (Rising 5th Graders)
    June 27 - July 1  (Rising 6th Graders)
    (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)

    This summer clinic will keep your child’s math skills sharp by reinforcing past skills and introducing them to skills needed in the next grade level. It will prepare them for a successful start in August!

    Rising 5th graders will cover operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, fractions, measurement and data, geometry, as well as testing strategies.
    Rising 6th graders will cover ratios and proportional relationships, the number system, expressions and equations, geometry, statistics and probability, as well as testing strategies.
    The weekly fee includes snacks and a math practice booklet.

  • Art and Science Camp: Wild!

    Grades: Kindergarten - 6th
    June 13 - 17

    Lions, and tigers and bears . . . OH MY!  

    Whether you have a backbone or not (Vertebrate/Invertebrate joke), you are invited to join the rest of the animals at our WILD ANIMAL summer camp! We can’t think of a better theme to mix in with our great counselors, amazing art projects, silly songs, crazy games, unexpected Science activities, and team cheers! You’ll sew your own owl using a sock, make and wear your own animal ears, learn to draw lots of animals from memory, mix up some sea slime, weave a yarn turtle, and make animal head pencil toppers with clay!  We will make an Animal Eye Sketchbook, paint an animal portrait that would make Mona Lisa jealous, and design a nocturnal landscape drawing.  From there we will slither, hop, run, gallop, fly, march, waddle, swing or stomp our way through the Wild Acre to meet, hold, and observe a unique animal every day! You will get to participate in a ton of hands-on activities that get you outside to explore and build a deeper appreciate for the animals in nature! Prepare for a wild adventure as you play the bird bead game, make a nest, mix up some elephant toothpaste, meet the honeybee in animal engineering, and construct a termite tower in one of the many creature S.T.E.M. challenges and projects! 

    The weekly fee is $390 and includes a daily hot lunch, art materials, kiln firing fees, snacks, scientific creations, and a bag of full of art masterpieces to amaze your friends and family!  Spots always fill up quickly so be sure to register right away!

  • MS Robotics Camp

    Grades: 6th-8th 
    June 20 - 24
    (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
    Are you interested in robotics, coding, and working with others to build awesomely epic robots? If so, come join us for a week of robotics fun in the TIDE building! Get a jump start at learning the new VEX EDR platform used on the middle and high school robotics teams!
    Working in teams you will obtain hands-on experience building, programming and controlling VEX EDR robots capable of performing various tasks. Some of the projects covered are: lifting mechanisms, remote control operation, and the basics of programming. The camp will conclude with a robot competition between the various teams.

    If you have a preschooler, this is the camp for you! Campers will be encouraged to develop their creativity through crafts, games, songs, and lots of other activities! We specialize in motor skills and social development through various educational techniques. This year there are camps specifically for children entering PreK-3 and PreK-4.  Please choose your age group carefully.

  • Reading and Math Blast

    Grades: Kindergarten - 2nd

    Hands-on reading and math activities to maintain skills learned and to prepare for the coming school year. Builds and enforces skills through interactive sensory learning games.

  • Spanish Camp

    Grades and Dates: 
    Preschoolers (June 27 - July 1)
    Kindergarten - 3rd (July 11 - 15)

    We are excited to continue our Spanish Fiesta in the summer!  Our campers will experience an archeological dig, in a fully immersed Spanish setting.  Our program adapts to the Spanish level of each student creating a fun way to learn.  We will collect squishies, have snacks, make slime, and have a blast!

  • Vex IQ Elementary Robotics

    Grades:   3rd-5th
    June 20 - 24
    (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)

    Gear up this summer for some serious robotics challenges! Applying the Engineering Design process, students will build a Vex IQ robot, a VEX Robotics Zip Flyer, and a VEX Robotics Single Gear Racer. The Vex IQ robot will be used in a competition on the last day of camp using the driver-controlled remote control in alliances with other camp teams. Students will be operating the robot to maximize points using the game for the Vex IQ challenge for the upcoming season. Prizes will be awarded based on points earned in the matches. The VEX Robotics Zip Flyer and the VEX Robotics Single Gear Racer will be for the students to take home. They will also participate in challenges with these two builds on the last day of camp.
    In addition, students will receive an hour of VEX VR graphical programming instruction each day using VEX VR code, virtual playgrounds and from Carnegie Mellon. The students will earn badges as they complete each of the programming levels.

  • WCS Drum Camp

    Drum Camp is a week-long music making and drumming experience for incoming 2nd through 8th grade students. This camp is led by Mr. Snider and is designed to give you many opportunities to explore the different percussion instruments in the Band. Campers will get to play the Drum Set, Drum Circle, Drum Line, Tower Chimes, the Gong, Xylophone, Marimba, Bells, Bass Drum, and many other percussion instruments. No prior music experience is needed!
