  • Dr. Philip Floyd, Chair

    Dr. Floyd is a pediatrician and owner of Sunset Pediatrics, a concierge pediatrics practice in South Miami. He and his wife Debbie, who attended WCS K5- grade 9, have three children: Mackenzie '24, Carter '24, and Emery '26. 

    Affiliations: The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Baylor College of Medicine; Christ Fellowship.
  • Dr. Alexander Trujillo, Vice Chair

    Dr. Trujillo is a dentist and owner of Simply Smiles Miami. He and Kiara have two children: Noah '24 and Jake '27.

  • Mr. Paul Quentel, Treasurer

    Mr. Quentel is the CEO of Envirowaste Services Group. He and his wife Michelle have three children: Micah '21, Caleb '23, and Kaiya '27.

  • Mrs. Sandy Carson, Secretary

    Mrs. Carson is director of children’s ministry at Granada Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables. Sandy and her husband Worth have three children: Rachel '05, Andrew '08 and Nathan '14.

  • Mrs. Jenny Coya

    Mrs. Coya is a transactional lawyer with her own practice. She and husband Manny have two children: Manny '27 and Emily '31.

  • Mr. Rick Cook

    Mr. Cook retired after 33 years with Coral Gables Fire Rescue, serving his last twelve years as fire chief. He spent the next nine years as an EMT and paramedic instructor. He and his wife Shelley have three sons: Jeff, Kevin and Daniel '04, and six grandchildren.

  • Mr. James Hannon

    Mr. Hannon is an attorney and president of Hannon Legal Group. He and his wife Melanie have two children: Tyler '19 and Krista '23.

  • Mr. Jud Henry

    Mr. Henry is a broker/owner of Skye Louis Realty. He and his wife Katie have four children: Kingston '29, Canyon '27, Ali and Kai.

  • Mr. Hamilton Jones '01

    Mr. Jones '01 is president of Hamilton Fox & Company, an independent property and casualty insurance agency in Pinecrest providing personal and commercial insurance solutions throughout Florida. He and his wife Heather have two children: Harvin '32 and T. Hamilton '34.

  • Mr. Jose Nicolas '97

    Mr. Nicolas '97 is a real estate associate with Compass FL. He and his wife Rebecca have two daughters: Jazmine '24 and Mila '29.

  • Mr. Jay Parker

    Mr. Parker is the owner of JTP Sales, a food wholesale/distributor and owner of JTP Enterprises, a real estate development company.  He and his wife Naky have two daughters: Mia '33 and Gia '37

  • Mr. Paul Pino

    Mr. Pino is the co-founder/chief development and analytics officer of Integrated Home Services. He and his wife Bertha have three daughters: Gabriela '26, Sabrina '19, and Victoria.

  • Mrs. Paige Tews

    Mrs. Tews is the head coach for the women's tennis team at the University of Miami. She and her husband Scott have two children: Emma and Landon '27.

WCS Board Responsibilities

Westminster Christian School's Board of Trustees, who act as one body and speak with one voice, is tasked with very specific responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
  1. Hires, supervises, evaluates, and supports the Head of School;
  2. Develops the school's mission, vision, long-range and strategic goals and establishes school policies that reinforce them;
  3. Provides fiduciary oversight;
  4. Guards the school's charter and mission and uses them as a guidepost for making board decisions;
  5. Supports and oversees fundraising initiatives;
  6. Accountable to Westminster for sound financial management, ensuring the financial stability and financial future of the school;
  7. Develop, maintain and regularly review the school's bylaws.
Day-to-day operations of Westminster Christian School are the responsibility of the Head of School and his/her administration.
