Our Approach
Westminster is dedicated to preparing students for college and beyond by empowering them to be life-long learners who reflect self-discipline, responsibility, integrity, and service to others. We are committed to providing all students with a high quality education – nurturing their academic, spiritual and social growth.
As part of Westminster’s commitment to prepare hearts for Christ, high school students, faculty and staff begin every school year by attending Warrior Week, a week-long spiritual retreat in the beautiful mountains of Jasper, Georgia. Students are provided with the tools to pursue spiritual renewal while developing relationships with fellow classmates and faculty in preparation for a successful academic school year.
Our Curriculum
Westminster offers an array of academic courses and signature programs that challenge high school students academically and prepares them to be ambassadors for Christ. Students may choose from 27 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, over 40 electives including band, drama, and art, and more than 35 clubs and organizations. Westminster also offers students the opportunity to study in Europe for one semester of their sophomore or junior year.
Each student is assigned a counselor from Westminster’s College Counseling Center that will help them choose courses and/or a signature program that aligns with their interests and plans for college, as well as guide them through the college selection and application process. Students also have the opportunity to join the reputable Westminster Athletics.
