Admission Testing Dates

Westminster requires the MAP Growth test for grades 2-5 and the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) for grades 6-12. Admission testing for grades 2-12 will take place on-campus on the following dates: 

  • October 4, 2025 (Only for early notification applicants)
  • October 25, 2025
  • November 15, 2025
  • January 24, 2025

How to Register:
Once the Westminster Admission office processes your application, you will have access to a digital checklist where you will select a preferred test date and will receive instructions on how to register directly with either MAP or ISEE. 

Admission testing for preschool through grade 1 will be scheduled by the Elementary office on a rolling basis.

Grades 6-12
The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is a multiple choice admission test in verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, and mathematics achievement. There will also be an essay prompt. For more information, please visit: www.iseetest.org

We accept official ISEE scores from students who take the exam in person at Westminster Christian School or at an authorized testing center. We do not accept score from ISEE tests taken at home. Please make sure that you designate Westminster Christian School as a recipient by entering our School Code 571054.

  • What do I need to bring for testing?

    MAP tests will take place on-campus using Microsoft computers that we provide. We will also provide scratch paper and pencils for the math portion of the test. Students may bring a water bottle and a sweater in case the room gets chilly.
  • How long will the test take?

    MAP testing is not a timed test. The total approximate test time including breaks and writing test is two and a half hours. 
    Tests begin promptly at 8 a.m.
  • What is the cost of MAP testing?

    The cost of admission testing is included in your application fee. Registration is still required but there is no additional cost.

  • Where do I take the test?

    We accept official ISEE scores from students who take the exam in person at Westminster Christian School or at an authorized testing center. We do not accept score from ISEE tests taken at home.  Please make sure that you designate Westminster Christian School as a recipient by entering our School Code 571054.
     
  • How long will the test take?

    ISEE Lower Level is for students who are candidates for Grade 6, and this test will take 140 minutes. ISEE Middle and Upper levels are for candidates who are applicants for Grades 7-11 and this test will take 160 minutes. We will also administer a Bible Knowledge Proficiency test. The total test time is approximately 3 hours.
  • My child has an accommodation to receive extended time on exams. How is this handled?

    To receive accommodations for an ISEE Admission test in person at Westminster Christian School or at an authorized testing center, please contact ISEE directly to submit the necessary documentation to be approved. Please note that ISEE requires approximately five weeks to review and approve all accommodation requests.
  • What should I do if I need to cancel my test date?

    You may request to reschedule or cancel by calling the ISEE Operations Office at 1-800-446-0320. A cancelation fee may be assessed. There is no refund if you cancel on or after the test date.
