Project Title: Visualization of Two-Dimensional Rocket Motor Flow Using Schlieren Photography
This project utilized a unique visualization method to observe and compare the flow through standard nozzles and aerospike nozzles.

Awards and recognition: South Florida Science and Engineering Fair Regional Competition - Superior; State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida - Finalist; International Science and Engineering Fair - Finalist.
Project Title: Optimization of Multi-Modal Distribution of Ammonium Perchlorate (AP) Particles in Composite Propellant
This project used super-scale physical particle modeling to test the ratios of different sized particles to maximize density while maintaining a low viscosity for easier processing. The optimal results were verified through making and testing rocket propellant.

Awards and recognition: South Florida Science and Engineering Fair Regional Competition -Superior, State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida - Finalist, Office of Naval Research Naval Science Award, UM ALDA Young Scientist Award, Naval Academy Award.
