Important Information About Drop-Off/Pick-Up
On Monday, August 17, high school students return to campus. Please expect heavier traffic and give yourself ample time during drop-off and pick-up. To enhance safety and to help improve the traffic flow:
Back
- Please use the appropriate drop-off locations in the morning. Parents should not drop off students in the HS Parking Lot or by the TIDE building.
- Arrive at dismissal time or a few minutes after to pick up your child. Cars that line up 20-30 minutes before dismissal contribute to additional back-up and block roadways.
- Please pick up your child at their designated pick-up area. Do not allow your student to be picked up on the road outside of the school gates on SW 67 Avenue or SW 152 Street.
For elementary school families:
- Stay in your cars at arrival and dismissal. Please do not get out of your car to walk your child to class or pick them up from the dismissal line at the end of the school day.
- Students are to walk to their classrooms in the morning on their own. Staff will escort little ones to their respective classrooms.
- Display the car placard on your dashboard at dismissal. If you need additional placards, please request them from Sherry Medder in the ES Office.
For middle school families:
- Middle school families should refrain from arriving early for afternoon pick-up or waiting in the Middle School circle or parking lot. Vehicles that arrive before dismissal create unnecessary congestion and interfere with the safe and orderly dismissal of our preschool students.
- To support campus traffic flow, Middle School families should plan to arrive no earlier than 2:45 p.m. on standard school days and 2 p.m. on Thursdays.
