October 8: PSAT Details for Grades 9–11 & Senior Schedule

Important PSAT Details for Grades 9–11
On Thursday, October 8, the PSAT will be administered in a digital format to all students in grades 9–11. Students will use their school-issued Surface devices for testing.

The PSAT provides valuable practice for the SAT. Students’ scores will unlock a free, personalized SAT study plan on Khan Academy, along with free college-planning tools to help them begin their college search. Students also receive feedback identifying AP courses for which they may be well prepared, which helps them plan their high school coursework and college admissions strategy.

For juniors, the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) also provides an opportunity to qualify for National Merit and other college-scholarship programs.
