2026 PSAT Scores: What Parents and Students Need to Know

Scores from the 2026 PSAT will soon be available. Please review this important guidance on how you and your child can access and use these results.

According to College Board, students who took the PSAT between October 1–9, 2026 at Westminster will be able to access their scores beginning Thursday evening, October 22, 2026. Students who tested after October 9 may receive their scores at a later date.

How Can Students Access Their Scores?

There are several ways students can access their PSAT results:
  • BigFuture School App: Students who provided their mobile phone number during testing can access their scores through the free BigFuture School app. Students who did not provide a phone number may also be able to access the app using their test registration number.
  • College Board Account: Students ages 13 and older can log in to their personal College Board account at www.collegeboard.org to view their scores and additional insights.
  • School Score Reports: Westminster will also have access to individual student score reports, which can be shared with students and families.
What Do These Scores Mean?
The PSAT is more than a practice test, it is a valuable tool to help students identify their academic strengths, recognize areas for improvement, and prepare for future college entrance exams.

We encourage you to review the score report together with your child. Pay particular attention to the Reading and Writing and Math sections, as well as the specific skills your child may need to strengthen.

What Should Students Do Next?
  • Review the results: Celebrate areas of strength and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create a study plan: Students can use their results to guide targeted SAT preparation, including free personalized practice resources through Khan Academy.
  • Explore college and career interests: The BigFuture School app provides opportunities to connect students' skills and interests with potential college and career pathways.
  • Track progress: Use these scores as a starting point to establish goals and measure academic growth over time.
A Final Reminder
Please remember that the PSAT is not a college admissions test, and these scores do not define your child's academic potential. Rather, they provide a helpful snapshot of where students are today and where they can continue to grow. For our juniors, the PSAT/NMSQT may also serve as the qualifying assessment for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Our goal is to help students use this information constructively as they continue preparing for their academic futures.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support!
