Varsity Football Remains Undefeated

Palmetto Bay, FL - Westminster (5 – 0) put the game out of reach against Pinecrest Preparatory (0 – 5) with 35 unanswered points by the half. The Warriors offense led their team to a thrilling shutout with a final score of 56 – 0. 
  
Prince Young dominated the Warriors offense securing 3 touchdowns adding to the Warriors win. 1 rushing touchdown for 48 yards, 1 receiving touchdown for 42 yards and a punt return to a touchdown for 40 yards, Prince Young can do it all. Greg Penton led the rushing offense with 6 carries over 110 yards for 2 touchdowns. Offensively, the Warriors had more contributors, securing two more rushing touchdowns by Damian Cuesta and Iggy Wadskier. 
 
The Warriors defense put up another great fight this week keeping the Crocs from scoring throughout the entire game. The Defensive team wanted some scoring action this week, with Darian Medran and Jack Butler getting their first defensive touchdowns of the season.  Tristian Roca led the unit with 13 tackles and 1 tackle for lost. The Warriors’ defense continued to put pressure on the Crocs, with Lucas Alonso and Daniel Penton both sacking the Quarterback. 
 
A big thank you to all the Warriors fans. This week, September 29, 2018, the Warriors face off The Marathon Dolphins on the WCS main field at 1:00 PM. We hope to see you all there at our Homecoming game!
