Freshmen and sophomores are invited to join the PSAT: Introduction to Desmos, a comprehensive two-hour course, on October 1, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Beacon Hall. The fee to attend is $50.
Participants will gain an overview of the PSAT and learn how to use the powerful Desmos graphing calculator to their advantage on the math section. They will also discover what Desmos is, how it works, and when it can be used strategically to solve problems more efficiently and save valuable time on test day.
The course covers key Desmos features, demonstrates which types of questions are best approached with the calculator, and provides practical tips and shortcuts to maximize its effectiveness.
