It's Time to Review Your Child's Emergency Contacts
Please ensure that each of your children has an emergency contact listed in their contact card on myWCS. An emergency contact should include anyone who is able to pick up your child from school like grandparents, family, friends, or nannies.
Follow these steps to review or add emergency contacts for your child:
- Log in to myWCS and click on your child's name.
- Click on the Contact Card tab.
- Scroll down to the Emergency Contacts box and select Manage Phones or Manage Email.
- To review your contacts or add a new contact, please click on "Edit Active List."
- To add a new emergency contact, please click "Add phone number" and complete the available fields, and finish by clicking "Done."
- This will take you back to your Active List. Make sure all appropriate names are selected before clicking "Save."
- Your Emergency Contacts will be called based on the order in which they are listed. You can change the order by using the arrows on either side of the contact name.
- Please repeat these steps for each of your children.
