Middle School Robotics Teams Earn Trip to State Championship
Two WCS Middle School VEX Robotics teams earned an invitation to the State Championship! In their first year, students had to overcome learning to build and program the VEX Robotics System and competing against mostly high school teams. The WCS teams consistently finished in the top half of each competition and were always one of the top middle school teams at each event.
By submitting their engineering notebooks which documented their progress from August until now and competing at the skills challenges at each competition, teams 33157A and 33157C both have earned a chance to compete at States, where they hope to earn a bid to World Championships, as well.
Congratulations to these students as they head to States in Tampa on Feb. 19.
