Westminster’s highly-regarded choral program provides beginners to advanced singers the ability to develop as musicians through rigorous instruction and varied performance opportunities. The program offers all-female choral groups and mixed ensembles, divided by grade level and skill. Students perform numerous on-campus and off-campus concerts, and performance tours in New York City, Hawaii, California, The Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands. Westminster also boasts a 28 year history of musical dinner theater shows where students perform Broadway and popular songs with professionally taught choreography and state-of-the-art lighting and audio to the delight of sold-out audiences.
The Westminster Christian Choral program is highly accomplished in the nationally recognized Music Educators National Conference and the American Choral Directors Association evaluations. Consistently rated superior in both performance and sight-reading, Westminster's choral ensembles are among the best in the State. Each year, Westminster choral students earn spots in the FMENC All-State Conference choirs based on music theory, sight-reading, and vocal performance assessments.
