Students Use Engineering To Serve In The Dominican Republic

High school engineering and art students spent the weekend in Dominican Republic working alongside Blue Missions. They were trained by professional engineers in the process of scouting a water project. Students gathered GPS coordinates in the field, learned how to calculate elevation changes, and how to create the project map.
This experience will help with research for the senior Engineering Design and Development course and complement the knowledge they have acquired throughout the WCS engineering curriculum.
