Join the Westminster A Cappella Group

The Westminster Christian School A Cappella group is looking for students in grades 9-12 who love to sing but may not have been involved with choir or fine arts before. Ability to read music is preferred but not necessary. Send Mr. Daniel Shafer a one minute video of you singing a song of your choice a cappella (without accompaniment).
The deadline to submit your video is August 21, 2020.

What is A Capella? A cappella is a musical style involving vocals without instrumental accompaniment, meaning there are no tracks, and all sounds are made only by the human mouth or body.

The group will meet once a week for a one hour rehearsal.  Members will be expected to practice on their own time between rehearsals and for performances.

A Cappella's potential activities include: Annual Choral Winter Concert, Solo & Ensemble District Competitions, Miami community performances, and song recording.

Questions regarding A Cappella can be directed to Mr. Shafer
