The Miami Herald's Silver Knight Awards program recognizes students from Miami-Dade and Broward County who represent academic excellence and have contributed greatly to community service projects within their schools and communities.

The nominees were interviewed virtually by a panel of independent judges in the first weeks of April and, on May 20, the Miami Herald will host its 63rd annual virtual presentation of the Silver Knight Awards.
Westminster Christian School, located in Palmetto Bay, Florida, is a private, college-preparatory school for children from preschool through twelfth grade.
