Fine Arts Students Earn Top Awards at Scholastic Art & Writing Competition

Westminster's Art 2D and photography students received 14 awards at the Scholastic Art & Writing exhibition this year, three Gold Key winners, one Silver Key, and 10 Honorable Mentions. Students who received Gold Keys will now compete nationally. Congratulations to the following students:

"I am so proud of the art they are creating as they develop their God-given talents and illustrate excellence," said April Sharpe-Shirk, high school art teacher and fine arts department chair. "Big congratulations also go out to Kim Comber's photography students who won four awards in their category and to the three Westminster students awarded in the film category."
