Elementary Students Bring to Life the Temple Curtain Tearing in Two

During the elementary school's Easter celebration, Anne Heetderks, Westminster's elementary school art teacher, helped bring to life the story and meaning of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross to our young Warriors.
While Kim Brigham, ES counselor, read from the Bible passages describing Jesus' death and resurrection, students visualized the curtain tearing in half by ripping small pieces of fabric with their hands.

The ripped pieces were then combined and added to larger pieces of cloth. The overall product is a stunning ripped curtain that now drapes over the entrance of the elementary school.
