Teresa Torralbas Joins Westminster Christian School as High School Assistant Principal

Westminster Christian School has named Teresa Torralbas as high school assistant principal effective July 1, 2022.

Since 2018, Torralbas worked as associate head of school and assistant principal at Kendall Christian School where she oversaw day-to-day operations, provided conflict resolution for families, developed an academic support program for students struggling with traditional learning styles and presented professional workshops for teachers and staff.

Prior to that, Torralbas was principal at Gladeview Christian School and worked as an adjunct professor at Trinity International University. She is also an active member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS).

Torralbas currently attends Christ Fellowship, the same church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 26.

“Once I began my relationship with Christ, my life was transformed. I hold a weekly women's Bible study in my home and have served at church and various ministries over the years,” said Torralbas.

She also hosts an annual blanket drive in the winter for the homeless community in downtown Miami, an activity that has turned into a family tradition. Now, she says she’s excited to begin her new role at Westminster Christian School.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at this incredible school. I am here to support the faculty, staff, students, and Westminster families however I can. I can't wait to see what God has in store. I am confident it's going to be a fantastic school year.”
