Important Information About Prom

Prom will be held on Saturday, April 11, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Trump National Doral. All students must arrive by 7:45 p.m. Dismissal will take place as follows: Seniors at 10:50 p.m. and Juniors at 11:00 p.m.. As with all of our school events, we want our students to have an incredible evening filled with joy, celebration, and lasting memories. We also value your partnership in helping ensure that this experience reflects the mission of Westminster Christian School: “Empowering learners, preparing hearts, and inspiring lives to faithfully serve as ambassadors for Jesus Christ.”

As you prepare for prom, please be mindful in the selection of formal attire. Please choose formal attire that reflects modesty and upholds the standards of a Westminster student. Students who are not in compliance with these expectations may be denied entry, asked to change, and/or subject to school disciplinary action. Additionally, as a school-sponsored event, our zero-tolerance policy regarding drugs and alcohol will be strictly enforced.

Westminster expects the full support of our parent community in maintaining a safe, alcohol- and drug-free environment for our students. Behaviors such as substance use, dishonesty, vandalism, or conduct that reflects poorly on the student or school are inconsistent with our expectations and will result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion, as outlined in the student handbook.

Students are expected to conduct themselves with respect, integrity, and responsibility at all times. This includes demonstrating good judgment, maintaining appropriate behavior, and upholding the values of our school community.

Parents, please note Westminster does not sponsor or support any student gatherings before or after prom.

“Where there is no guidance the people fall, but in an abundance of counselors there is victory.” – Proverbs 11:14

Thank you for your partnership in helping Westminster Christian School continue to foster a safe, God-honoring environment for all students. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate this special occasion together.
