Important Information About AP Exams

Any student in grades 9-11 enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) course is automatically registered for the AP exams, which take place in May 2024. Each AP exam costs $125 per AP exam and $150 for each AP Capstone exam. The cost of the AP exam includes costs from College Board as well as costs of administering the exams on campus for proctors and other related expenses for Westminster.  The fee for registered AP exams will be reflected in your Smart Tuition November billing statement.

We encourage all students who are enrolled in an AP course to take the respective AP Exam. However, if a student wishes to cancel their registration for an AP exam, he/she must complete the cancellation form no later than Friday, Sep. 29, for both annual and first-semester courses.

Any exams canceled after Sep. 29 will not be refunded. 

All students enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) course are automatically registered in College Board’s online platform, AP Classroom, with their respective AP teacher(s). AP Classroom provides the student access to online AP resources, including study questions that mirror actual AP exam test material. Students can independently track their progress online through Personal Progress Checks which are unlocked by the AP teacher. This invaluable tool is available for all AP students enrolled in an AP course at Westminster Christian School, not just for those who take the exam.
