Important Information About Homecoming for Parents
Homecoming Week is a special time for our school community to come together and celebrate our Warrior pride and the traditions that makes our school exceptional. To ensure that this week is both enjoyable and safe for all students, please take a moment to review important expectations for our Homecoming festivities.
Dub Hunting: Dub hunting is a beloved Westminster tradition that fosters competition, collaboration, and critical thinking among our students. We appreciate the enthusiasm and camaraderie that this event fosters. With the fun and excitement, however; there is also the potential for careless driving. Students who engage in careless driving or fail to abide by safety guidelines may be disqualified from the game and subjected to further disciplinary actions. We ask for your support in reinforcing the importance of safety and responsible behavior with your children during this event.
Homecoming Dance: The Homecoming dance is a wonderful opportunity for our students to dress up, dance, and enjoy time with friends. We request that students dress modestly and sensibly for the event. Please take the time to carefully read and sign the mandatory forms found on myWCS and discuss them with your children to ensure they understand our expectations. Westminster does not endorse any form of underage drinking. We urge parents not to endorse or support such activities, as we are a Christian school that values the rule of law and places a strong emphasis on safety and responsible behavior.
We cherish our partnership with both parents and students, and it is our shared commitment to uphold our school's policies that allows us to maintain a strong and vibrant community.
